Young people can learn how to preach through a 22-hour intensive this Fall and Winter. Discover how to prepare and present a worship talk for your church, youth group, or Christian school event. You'll learn the components and be coached by youth pastors. You'll be ready to preach because you will be preaching throughout this intensive.
This same training is being offered on three different weekends in three locations in California:
Calimesa, CA - Saturday, August 27, 5:00 PM through Sunday, August 28, 3:00 PM
Sacramento, CA - Saturday, October 15, 5:00 PM through Sunday, October 16, 3:00 PM
Armona, CA - Saturday, January 21, 2012, 5:00 PM through Sunday, January 22, 2012, 3:00 PM
The cost is $69/person, which includes instruction, meals, and lodging (bring bedding to sleep on the gym floor!). Discounts are available. For example, you get a $10 discount when you reserve your spot and pay at least one month prior to the training. You also get discounts of $5 if you attend an SDA academy in the Pacific Union and a $5 discount if you're a young person in the Northern California, Central California, Southern California, or Southeastern California Conference.
