Geared for youth ministry
professionals with a masters degree and active in ministry, this
advanced learning takes place in four 1-year modules, followed by the
D. Min. project. The cohort (group of fellow youth ministry
professionals) comes together for course work and maintains contact
over the four year period, including annual, 2-week intensives, group
work projects, and regular contact throughout each module.
The
Doctor of Ministry is a practical degree, studying and researching in
the field, and then applying what is learned to ministry situations.
Even the dissertation project calls for the application of current
research in a ministry setting.
The latest Youth & Young Adult Ministry cohort began in February, 2010
